Depending on the operating system and device used, there are numerous options for exporting documents, i.e. saving them on the local device.
Export via double-click/touch
With this export, a file can be exported from a file list to a local data storage, provided this is technically possible.

- Quickly double-tap the file name with your finger
- The file is then offered for saving on the data storage
The subsequent behavior depends on the different options and rights of the operating system.
Export via drag & drop
With this export, a file can be dragged with the mouse or by touch onto a data storage or directly into an application.
- Ideally, open the storage target beforehand, for example the folder of a data carrier or the desired application
- Switch to the app
- Navigate to a file list, for example a folder in a vault or a search result
- Place the mouse pointer on the image of the file type of the file(s) in question and drag it (them) to the storage target or …
- On a touch-sensitive screen, place a finger on the image of the file type, hold it down and drag your finger to the storage target
