Folders serve as an aid for structuring the files. Deleting a folder does not automatically delete the files.<\/p>\n\n<p>In contrast to a classic file system, a file can be permanently assigned to several folders. This process is called <strong>anchoring<\/strong>. A file can be anchored to several folders.<\/p>\n\n<p>Rules can be added to folders. This turns the folder into a <strong>magnet<\/strong>. Magnets attract or release files based on the rules. The <strong>rules <\/strong>evaluate the text content and\/or <strong>tags<\/strong>. Characteristics can be applied and their values changed using <strong>stamps <\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Stamps make it possible to change characteristics or their values and thus enable business processes that are represented in Amagno&#8217;s <strong>tasks <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>While folders and magnets have to be managed manually, Amagno offers automatic structures through the <strong>document types <\/strong>and <strong>tags<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">You are currently still configuring magnets in the Amagno Client for Windows.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create folder<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">For this function you need the rights <strong>Folders and magnets &#8211; Edit, Folders and magnets &#8211; Create and Folders<\/strong> and <strong>magnets &#8211; Read<\/strong>. You currently configure this in the Amagno Client for Windows.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-list heroic-styled-list\" id=\"heroic-styled-list-39a8fda4-3b36-48db-8921-2032c753fa72\"><ol class=\"fa-ul\"><li>Select a <strong>file <\/strong>in the <strong>Me<\/strong> theme bar on the <strong>Files <\/strong>tab<\/li><li>Select the <strong>Documents <\/strong>entry in the <strong>Documents <\/strong>tab in the <strong>Home <\/strong>theme menu<\/li><li>Select the <strong>folder level <\/strong>in which the new folder is to be created by <strong>selecting the displayed folders<\/strong><\/li><li>Select the <strong>action button <\/strong>for the quick actions or the menu<\/li><li>Select the <strong>+<\/strong> symbol or the <strong>New folder<\/strong> entry<\/li><li>Enter <strong>the desired folder name<\/strong> in the dialog that appears. The folder name should not yet exist on the level and should also not contain any special characters that should not be used in a Windows file system or other systems such as iOS, MacOS, Android etc.<\/li><li>Confirm the dialog below with the <strong>green check<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Update <\/strong>the list of folders<\/li><\/ol><style>#heroic-styled-list-39a8fda4-3b36-48db-8921-2032c753fa72 li:before{\n\t\t                   background:#000000;\n\t\t                   border-radius: 0;\n\t\t                   }<\/style><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delete folder<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">To use this function, you need the <strong>Folders and magnets &#8211; Read <\/strong>and <strong>Folders and magnets &#8211; Delete<\/strong> rights on the folder.
